Q: Why choose us?

A: We take great pride in offering our customers original design handcrafted wood craft and healing stone jewelry. Our primitive décor and mobile accessories are Sophisticated, yet Simple and Smart. In addition, by optimally leveraging unique resources on the Chinese market, we’re able to offer quality handmade crafts at very affordable prices!

 

Q: What makes your wood crafts unique?

A: Several inherent factors we commit ourselves to during the handcrafting process guarantee that our creations are truly one-of-a-kind:

 

  1. We adhere to our belief in original, contemporary minimalist woodwork design, which is also the differentiator that sets us apart from other woodwork producers. This in part allowed us to gain a group of very loyal followers locally.

 

  1. Unlike with mass produced wooden furniture and gadgets etc, the majority of materials (e.g. freeform driftwood and extra-solid sandalwood) that we use for creative wood crafting are pretty much unique to manual woodworking techniques, unsuitable for machine processing.

 

  1. Most of the wood materials are unique in themselves in terms of natural shape, texture etc. There’s no two that are the same.

 

Q: What materials you use?

A: In general, we love to work on all natural wood materials where human elements are kept to a minimum. More specifically, for handcrafted primitive décor, our favorite materials are beech driftwood, walnut and bamboo, mostly because of unique aesthetic aspects.

 

As for smart phone / tablet stands, acoustic amps and charging stations, we prefer rosewood, blackwood, bamboo for their extra solidity. This is particularly important for optimizing sound boosting performance of “acoustic” amplifiers.

 

Q: Which products can be custom made according to my personal preferences?

A: We accept custom orders for most of our smart phone and tablet acoustic amplifiers and charging stations. If the brand or model of your mobile device is not listed as an option, please feel free to contact us at info@1proy.com for item-specific information.

 

Due to their “straightforward” functionality design, most primitive home décor and office accessories are not suitable for customization, but it might be possible to make some minor changes. Please let us know if this is needed, and we’ll do our best to best meet your individual needs.

 

Q: When did you start selling online?

A: We were a family business with a physical store specializing in wood craft and supplies, in operation since May 2007, until we decided to go clicks and mortar in November 2013.

 

Our bricks and mortar store has proven a successful and trusted business, and have a solid base of very loyal followers in the Beijing area, benefiting us immensely over the years. We’ll commit to the same high product quality and service standard for our ecommerce customers!

 

Payment and shipping

Q: What are the accepted payment methods?

A: Paypal is our preferred method of payment for optimal buyer and seller protection. Please let us know if any alternative is required and we’ll be happy to arrange accordingly as much as we can.

Q: How long does it take before my order is ready for shipping?

A: We always try to keep at least 5-6 pieces in stock for each listed item, and it takes 1-2 business days to ship out. For custom orders, depending on the buyer’s actual needs, it may take up to 5-8 days before delivery.

 

Q: How long is international shipping?

A: International shipping typically takes 7-19 days via First Priority Air Parcel, or 3-8 days via EMS Expedite. For shipments to the USA via ePacket, delivery typically takes 7-15 days to arrive. More details are available in our Shipping Policy.

 

Q: Do you offer international shipping tracking code?

A: Definitely. Online tracking code is provided in our shipping notification email, including the URL of the tracking site.

Q: What is Paypal?

PayPal is a globally trusted payment clearing service. By using PayPal to pay, your financial information such as credit card numbers and billing address are kept private and secure -- your information cannot be seen by one else (even the merchant).

Q: Why should I buy via Paypal?

PayPal is a trusted third party payment processor, owned by eBay. Paypal protects your financial information during transactions.

When you checkout via PayPal, 1Proy only sees your shipping address and optionally a telephone number if you explicitly wish to share with us.

 

Q: What do I need to check out via Paypal?

  1. A valid email address, and/or
  2. a valid credit card or bank account.

 

Q: Do I need to open a Paypal account?

No. PayPal supports guest checkout. Simply enter your billing address and credit card information to complete an order. You may optionally create a PayPal password for speeding up future orders.

Q: How long does it take for refunds to go back to my credit card?

Credit card refunds require manual verification and are processed within 3 business days.

You will receive an instant e-mail notification from PayPal to confirm these refunds. You may also call PayPal to verify your refund. Their USA toll free phone number is 1-888-221-1161.

After a refund is processed, it could take anywhere between 1 and 30 days to appear on your credit card statements. This delay depends solely on agreements between PayPal, your card's type (Visa/Mastercard/AE), and your issuing bank. It is not within 1Proy's control.
